She Was Glowing

Valerie Millsapps

Chief Executive Officer

As I (Valerie) recently opened the blinds at our Maryville Center, I watched our moms leaving their morning Bible study.

One mom caught my eye. As she walked down the sidewalk, Bible clutched in her hand, she was glowing.

A radiant smile spread across her face as she took a deep breath in true freedom. I wish I could bottle up this moment and show it to all of you because it happens so often at all our locations.

And in that moment, I thought: This is what hope looks like. Not the kind that fades or leaves you grasping for straws—because what the world offers will leave you empty.

True hope has a name. True hope is a person.

His name is Jesus.

For the past nine weeks, these brave mommas have been poured into, being reminded by the truth in His Word of who God is and who they are in Christ.

All nine brave mommas have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior through this class.

When many of them embraced our doors for the first time, all hope seemed lost. The babies in their wombs were at risk for abortion, but God!

Life was chosen, and eternal life is in Christ!

Thank you for making what we do possible!

It’s an honor to serve Him with you!

We strive to empower expectant mothers with the knowledge and care they need.
